About Me

I am passionate about helping students understand all things STEM. I received my B.S. with a double major in Marine Science and Biology with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Miami. I then received my M.S. in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I am skilled in tutoring any and all subject matters in biology. My expertise are in environmental and conservation biology, cellular biology, and molecular biology. Additionally, I am well-versed in tutoring statistics, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and Calculus I-III. I believe that engaging the student throughout the lesson is of the utmost importance to ensure retention and understanding. Therefore, I I use PowerPoint for all lessons that contains notes and practice problems, which I then send at the end of each session. I also frequently check my email and chat to ensure constant communcation with studnets as they need.
