I have a received my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, with a speciality in writing & reading. Since graduation, I have taught writing and reading for 17 years and have been a school administrator for 4 years. I specialize in accelerated reading strategies and use data-driven interventions to assist in improving reading skills. I have an ESL supplemental certificatification, as well. My goal is to help readers improve their comprehension, develop a love for reading, and enhance their reading levels, fostering both confidence and a deeper understanding of the material. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. As a strong advocate for education, I attempt to instill in all of my students my belief that education is vital to a higher quality of life.

In my free time, I love to exercise, bowl, spend time with family, read books that make me a better person, and occasionally playing a game of basketball.
