About Me

I am a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2017. Throughout college and since graduation, I have been working on organic chemistry projects and started my PhD career in 2018. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Chemistry, Mathematics, and Spanish. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for these subjects and seeing them better understand the material is the most rewarding part of tutoring and teaching. I've been a teaching fellow for organic chemistry labs since 2018 and understand every student has different hardships and approaches to any school material. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. I don't think anyone should shy away from learning about any material that interests them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, watching movies, along with running and watching baseball with others.
