I am Melissa Swanson, a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University and over 10 years of experience teaching diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels. My passion lies in teaching English and history, particularly through tailored approaches that meet individual learning styles, whether auditory, visual, or kinesthetic. For the past four years, I have focused on online instruction, allowing me to effectively engage students through interactive lessons and technology.

I am married and have 4 children that I love spending time with. I have 2 golden retrievers. I love cooking, reading, learning new things, and traveling!
