I am a retired elementary teacher and I taught off and on since my graduation in 1977. I retired in 2020. My last 19 years of teaching was at a private school with a mix of students of all abilities learning together in a way to help each student. Because of the last school I taught at, I have experience with children with learning disabilities and differences such as ADHD. I believe in meeting the students where they are and boosting their confidence.

I love dogs and spending time with my Chihuahua and Jack Russell terrier. They are both rescues. I also love music of any kind (except heavy metal). I enjoy shopping whether I buy anything or not. I especially enjoy thrifting, flea markets, etc. I even do a little ebay selling of items I find. Now for all of the young at heart-I like cartoons. My favorites are Looney Tunes, Peanuts , and Garfield.
