I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering in December 2022, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a master's degree in Cybersecurity and Operations this past August. I am currently doing this job part time because cybersecurity does not give me the opportunity to teach others on a regular basis. While I love Computer Science and Cybersecurity, I have always enjoyed working with students and others in order to help them learn and grow. My mom is a teacher, and I think that some of her desire and enjoyment from teaching rubbed off on me. Varsity Tutors gives me the opportunity to share my love of Mathematics, Coding, and Computer Science all the way from beginner to expert levels. I greatly enjoy this opportunity especially since I know good Math teachers can be quite hard to find. I love working with students or anyone with a desire to learn and gain a better understanding of material, so this job is a way for me to help and give back while maintaining a job in the cybersecurity field. As for some experience I have with teaching and tutoring, I'd say that traces all the way back to high school. During that time, I remember helping any of my friends that might have been struggling to understand some topics. I always loved watching their faces light up with understanding after I would carefully explaining a topic, problem, or some other sort of material from class. These experiences continued during my college career where I would help friends with Chemistry, College Algebra, Calculus, and coding problems that they needed tutoring on to understand. The most recent experience I've had with tutoring happened during my time working at the MSU CyberLab from August 2023 to April 2024. There, I was able to teach students more on digital forensics and guide them through labs and exercises to get a better understanding of the tools, processes, and technical information involved in cybersecurity and digital forensics. I'm greatly excited to continue this experience and passion I have for helping others learn and grow.

Some of my interests and hobbies include watching investigative documentaries, practicing cybersecurity challenges and exercises, playing with my new kitten, drawing, and creative storytelling.
