I am a graduate of Denison University where I majored in Communications, and PPA (Politics & Public Affairs). Before college, I was enrolled in the IBDP curriculum. While I tutor in a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, History, and Writing. I have extensive experience working with children between the ages of 6-12. During college, I was a TA and worked at the Writing Center, gaining experience tutoring individuals between the ages of 18-22. I view teaching as a partnership between the instructor and the students, where dialogue and collaboration are essential. By actively involving students in their own learning, I aim to cultivate a sense of ownership over their education. I encourage students to question assumptions, explore diverse perspectives, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations. Accordingly, I employ a conversation-based teaching style for my students.
