I am a Senior at Nevada State university expected to graduate in the summer of this year with a bachelors in psychology and a minor in counseling. Growing up experiencing a language barrier in my household was difficult considering I struggled with learning. I remembered wanting help but not knowing where to ask for it. I'd love to be able to help students with areas that they might need improvements in order to build confidence in future learning. I've worked with students by providing intervention through Southern Nevada Urban Micro Schooling that were showing a need for improvement in area such as literacy, math or writing. I enjoy Tutoring in math, literacy and Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish as that was my first language so I'd love to help others learn the language. When tutoring I see the importance in allowing the student to ask any questions they may have. My tutoring style is Socratic method and drills. For my interest, I like to travel, workout, and try new activities or hobbies.

My favorite color is green and brown. I love reading new books and taking pictures. My favorite movie is hatchi or the pursuit of happiness. I recently have been getting into cooking and I love it, I enjoy making pasta or spaghetti dishes.
