Hello, my name is Janine Luke, and I am a passionate educator dedicated to fostering a love of reading and math in young children. With over Ten years of classroom experience and a Master's in Childhood Education from Mercy College, I specialize in elementary school Reading, English Language Arts, math, and test prep for elementary state exams. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where students thrive through hands-on materials, interactive activities, and technology. I focus on foundational literacy skills (phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension), comprehension skills in upper elementary and math content tailoring my approach to meet each child's unique needs.
