Hello! I'm a passionate and experienced educator with over a decade of teaching students from early childhood through high school across various subjects. I strive to create learning spaces, both in the classroom and virtually, that are supportive, engaging, and personalized to each student's unique strengths. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing, practicing yoga, studying different cultures and spiritual traditions, and spending time in nature with my young daughter. As a certified classroom teaching with over 10 years of teaching experience, I hold an ESL certification and have taught core subjects such as Math, Reading, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Health. I've also integrated Mindfulness and Social Emotional Intelligence into my teaching to support the whole child. I've taught internationally at the King's Palace School in Bangkok and served as a STEAM team lead and Master Teacher in Texas. My teaching methodology centers on meeting students where they are, building on their interests, and encouraging curiosity through interactive and inquiry-based learning. I have a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a Master's degree in International Studies, with a focus on Southeast Asian cultures and religions.
