About Me

Hello! My name is Malu. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Microbiology with minors in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from New Mexico State University in 2021. I am a patient, kind, and passionate individual who excels at and enjoys helping people of all ages learn. I am very easygoing and empathetic so I get along with just about anyone. I'm also quick on my feet and able to think outside the box which sets me apart as a tutor as I always try to find a way to meet a student where they are at so I can help them learn the best way that they learn. I have worked as a tutor, substitute teacher, and a middle school teacher in both California and New Mexico so I have experience and am familiar with all middle school subjects, but I am comfortable in various elementary and high school subjects as well. I have worked with many children and adults with ASD and ADHD before. I am most proficient in Math, Science, and English. I look forward to learning together!
