As an educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana, I find immense joy in witnessing the moment a student truly understands a concept that once challenged them. With over 11 years of classroom experience and 5 years in online tutoring, 3 of which have been with Varsity Tutors, I specialize in Elementary English, Math, Reading, Science, Writing, and Social Studies. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive learning environment that connects with each student's unique interests, fostering both confidence and engagement in their learning journey. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, hiking, reading, playing board games, crafting, and savoring a good cup of coffee.

I love traveling to state parks, hiking on the trails and taking pictures of the scenery. I enjoy playing board games and doing puzzles. I also enjoy sitting in my sunroom, reading and drinking coffee.
