About Me

Philosophy: The instructor teaches the subject. A teacher teaches the child. I teach children how to think about the information in order to conquer their work confidently and independently. I provide homework help and remedial instruction assistance in Reading and writing (grades K-8) and Math (grade K-4). I also assist students who have learning challenges, and students who are 1-2 levels below grade level. Subjects include: ELEMENTARY HOMEWORK HELP READING GRAMMAR/ ELA/WRITING ELEMENTARY MATH IB MUSIC PROJECTS (PYP) I hold a Master's of Arts Degree from George Mason University in Teaching with a focus in Arts Integration and an EL Certification. My experience of 22 years as an Educator includes: 1.Elementary math and reading intervention 2. ELA in summer school and tutoring 3. EL tutoring online (English as a Second Language) 4.Primary science in a magnet school (Grades 1-2) 5. Music in for IB PYP school 6. Study techniques (Grades 2-5) 7.
