I hold a teacher certification for Early Childhood through 4th grade. I have taught 3rd grade for 9 years, 4th grade for 2 years. I also worked in administration for 6 years and helped teachers implement new strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Through my 17 years in education, every year I have tutored, mentored and supported students and teachers in all subjects. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Science and English. I find much reward in relating information to the interest of the student so they find relevance with it. This helps with understanding and processing information. Once they find success with one thing, their confidence grows and this leads to more success. In my spare time, I enjoy playing games with my children and spending time outdoors, especially the beach.
