About Me

I am a wife and mother of 2 young men. We are a homeschool family. I am a 2020 graduate of the University of North Alabama. My major is Interdisciplinary Studies with Emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I love teaching. I figured out how much I love teaching when my youngest was diagnosed with Regressive Autism. We had to think outside the box. I quickly learned that not everyone learns the same way. I also learned that different subjects can sometimes require different teaching methods. As a family, we are in our 12th year of homeschooling, and my youngest is graduating this year. Go!! Class of 2026!! I have been a Challenge B, 1 (for 2 years), and 3 Director with Classical Conversations, which are their 8th-, 9th-, and 11th-grade equivalents. I have been tutoring for over 20 years. I have tutored both children and adults. I love leading students on the adventure toward reaching their academic goals.
