About Me

I am an experienced teacher and a tutor. My Bachelors Degree was in Teaching English and I also have MBA in Finance from Fordham University School of Business. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience and for the past three years I have worked as a private tutor. I find teaching extremely rewarding, especially right now, during pandemic where thousands of children and adults have suffered from a learning loss. I am a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students. I have a proven track record of achieving great results within a short time frame. I have experience tutoring English, ESL, Reading, Writing, Math and Russian. My favorite subject to teach is Reading, I love working with students who are struggling with learning how to read. it is most rewarding to see how quickly they improve after working with me. I believe that well rounded education is very important, as it sets the stage for future success in life.
