My original focus was to help struggling young students by integrating theater play into everyday subjects. I was inspired to go back to school in Flagstaff, Arizona where I earned my Master's degree in Education. Since then I have taught classes for kindergarten through high school working in both Colorado and Arizona schools. I find that engaging with students in either small groups or one to one is where I do my best teaching. I take my job as an educator seriously. I feel that education should be available to everyone who wants to learn more. It is a valuable experience for all people to gain any knowledge in order to make positive gains in self-efficacy, self-esteem, and overall well-being. In my off time I enjoy hiking, taking photographs of nature, reading, writing creative stories, and brushing up on my acting skills.
