I am from Houston, Texas. I have always had a love for learning. This was evident when I was young and still exists today. I am the guy in the group who plays random trivia games to learn about new stuff that I have never been exposed to before. When I started college at Dillard University I discovered that I also have a deep love for teaching. I discovered the ultimate way to assess if you really know something is whether or not you can teach it to someone who may not be familiar with the subject matter. This a great challenge, but I enjoy it. I love to see the look on a person's face when they "get it." I have also found that I too learn new things about the subject that I may not have known before. This is a rewarding experience for me. The subjects I am most passionate about are Chemistry and Biochemistry. I am most comfortable with these subjects, since they were my majors in undergraduate school. Eventually, I hope to be a college professor full time. I value knowledge because once it is attained it cannot be taken away from someone. If a person decides to use it, it becomes even more valuable.
