I am a junior at Purdue University studying Aerospace Engineering and am part of the Air Force ROTC program. I have 6 years of tutoring experience at places including Kumon, Mathnasium, and Purdue University. I have worked with kids of all ages from kindergarten to sophomores in college, each with their own set of unique strengths, and tutored a variety of subjects, including calculus, trigonometry, geometry, thermodynamics, chemistry, and physics. Like many of my previous students, I struggled to understand concepts that I was being taught and was a terrible test taker. However, I found ways to overcome my obstacles and develop an better intuition for what I was learning. I believe that it is only this intuition and understanding that helps overcome these obstacles. My least favorite thing to see people be discouraged, so with a little bit of guidance and reassurance, I want to show people that they are capable of anything they put their mind to.

I am currently a fourth year medical student in Indianapolis. I completed my undergraduate education at Indiana University Bloomington, where I majored in Biology and Spanish. I also completed two minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. While at IU, I worked for the Department of Mathematics and Department of Spanish. I also worked as a Peer Tutor for the IU Athletics Department, tutoring in several subjects including statistics, chemistry, physics, and Spanish. I graduated from college with a 4.0, and I entered medical school shortly thereafter. Since coming to medical school, I have excelled in all of my pre-clinical coursework, and I currently rank in the Top 20% of my class. I feel very comfortable and confident tutoring other students in a variety of subjects from math and science to Spanish. I like to think that the same techniques I have used to excel in all phases of my education can be easily adapted to other students and help you achieve your academic goals, just as I have!

I am an incoming college sophomoore studying Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I was one of the top scholars at Carmel High School in Indiana and have various experiences teaching and tutoring through leading the Carmel High School Science Olympiad team to Nationals for two years in a row. Many of my friends consistently come to me for help with various subjects because of my willingness to help and teach in a way that makes sense to everyone. My specialities are physics, chemistry, math, and economics but I am comfortable tutoring any STEM subject, the SAT, and the ACT. Some of my accomplishments include a perfect 36 ACT score, 800 on the Physics, Math Level 2, and Chemistry SAT subject tests, and a 5 on all the physics, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Macroeconomics, Computer Science, etc. AP exams. When teaching, I focus on making sure that not only do students understand different concepts, but also that students understand why and practical applications of the different concepts. As a recent high school graduate, I have a deep understanding of how high-schoolers think, what is covered in various courses now, and can connect with my students a lot more. Additionally, as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, I taught weekly recitation sections of 30 students and held weekly office hours. Therefore, I have lots of experience teaching and working with students.

I am an undergraduate biochemistry major at the University of Notre Dame. Previously, I was employed at Mathnasium of Granger for two years, where I was a math instructor for all ages and math-related subjects.

I'm currently a Process Assistant at an Amazon warehouse, which is like an assistant manager. My job is interesting, active, and varied, but I missed tutoring and want to make math and other subjects as easy as possible to approach and grasp for students. With the right time and a commitment to tailoring a tutoring style for the person being assisted, any student can pass their classes and retain lifelong knowledge and experience. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Science-Computing--the University's equivalent of the pre-med major, but with additional credits reserved for a few Computer Science electives. While there, tutoring was one of the main activities I was involved in, and I found it deeply fulfilling when I'd see a certain idea suddenly click for my tutees.

I am a student at Duke University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with Chemistry and German minors. On campus I am involved in the Bilbo lab, which focuses on neuroimmune interactions in abnormal brain development. I am very passionate about helping others enjoy and learn about various fields in STEM.

I have been tutoring since 2018. I was a math instructor for five years at a math learning center. There I worked with students in grades 1 through college. I particularly love teaching elementary and middle school math as well as Algebra! I am comfortable working with students of all ages and all abilities. In addition to tutoring math, I was a Spanish AT for introductory Spanish courses and also conversational ones. I also volunteered at the local public elementary school weekly to teach Spanish to second graders. The summer between my junior and senior year, I was fortunate enough to intern in Spain and teach English at a bilingual school. I believe every student learns differently, and I am always happy to adapt my teaching methods to best meet each student's individual needs. These methods range include diagrams, drawings, and the socratic method.

I'm a first-year physics major at Butler University, and I tutor because I believe that everyone deserves to have an education tailored to their own personal learning style. I'm especially focused on SAT preparation, where I earned a 1580, and I also tutor AP Calculus AB, AP Economics, AP Physics, AP English Language and Composition, and various other subjects. My tutoring style is interactive and built around questions and guided practice. I like to understand how a student is thinking before jumping in, then help them refine their approach step by step. Sessions are flexible depending on the student's goals, sometimes that means slowing down and building core concepts, and other times it means focusing on efficiency, test strategy, or practice problems. For the SAT in particular, the math section relies on strong fundamentals and careful reading, and the Reading and Writing section is very improvable with targeted grammar practice and familiarity with question patterns.

I am currently a student at Dartmouth College studying Biology, with a concentration on Human Biology. I tutor many subjects, but specialize in standardized test prep and in science, particularly Biology at all levels. I am most passionate about science, it is my favorite subject because it always has a definite answer but it might not be what you expect. At Dartmouth, I am a member of the marching band, Emergency Medical Services, and the sustainability program.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology and Japanese. I tutor multiple subjects, but I enjoy tutoring Algebra and Japanese the most. I believe that everybody should be able to get the education that they deserve and the attention and help in order for them to achieve that. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the Guitar, Photography, and playing Badminton.
