I am originally from San Antonio, TX; I completed my undergraduate education at Rice University in Houston where I received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Currently, I am in my second year of medical school at Baylor College of Medicine.

I am a graduate of the University of Chicago where I received my undergraduate degree in political science. Right after graduation, I worked as an academic and test prep tutor as well as admissions consultant in Hong Kong. For the past two years, I worked with a number of students to help prepare them for college in the United States.

I'm a pre-health student at the University of Pennsylvania, and have an extensive background in the sciences. I can also rock the SATs and MCAT, so I've got that going for me. I love learning with students and trying to make the tedious work of learning as fun as possible. I think and teach in examples and make abstract concepts easily understandable. I also love sports, adventures, travelling!

I'm Ellie, and I am a junior at Yale University studying Biomedical Engineering (pre-med)! I have always considered myself a life-long student, and I strive to make learning exciting and empowering for everyone. On campus, I work as a graphic designer for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), volunteer EMT, am the Arts Editor for the Yale Scientific Magazine, am the Layout Editor for the Yale Globalist Magazine, conduct autism research in the School of Medicine, and tutor a Differential Equations course to small groups of students weekly. Aside from my passion for science and math, I enjoy writing essays in my literature classes, designing in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more and also have much experience writing application essays for colleges and jobs!

I am recent graduate of Yale University. After an intensive application cycle and four years of college, I hope to be able to impart to others the wisdom I have learned. I have four years of freelance tutoring experience in college admissions and the MCAT. Overall, tutoring is a way that I can support the students who will be in my shoes. I am taking time to explore my lifelong interest in teaching. I began tutoring at the University of Notre Dame, where I worked for three years as a teaching assistant in a Cell Biology laboratory course. There, I enjoyed helping my peers understand the larger picture developing through our weekly experiments. At Loyola University Chicago, I continued to tutor a variety of subjects while earning a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences.

I am a first year medical student at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. I am currently a first-year Master's student at the Yale School of Public Health. I received my Bachelor's in biology at UCLA. As a Californian, I enjoy sunny weather and eating avocados.

I am a recent Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, where my studies revolved around applying life science research to health and social studies. I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for several courses, and specializes in 1-on-1 tutoring for introductory biochemistry. Biochemistry is my favorite because of how many other disciplines it synthesizes. After achieving a 38 on the MCAT (99.1%), I began mentoring students on test preparation strategies.

I am a former middle school science teacher and science curriculum chair in Philadelphia. I recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's degree in Education. In undergraduate, I graduated with honors in history and Russian language studies. I am also a Teach For America corps member alumnus. Right now I am the Learning and Development Coordinator for Impark USA. I enjoy teaching and love to work with others to overcome their academic challenges.

I'm a freshman at Stanford University pursuing a degree in mathematical and computational science. I've been tutoring students from grades 3-12 throughout high school, and I look forward to continue in college. I am a current Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing accelerated student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016 with a BA in Biological Sciences and minor in Philosophy. I have always had a deep and lifelong love of learning that I wish to impart to other students. My goal is to help students achieve their learning needs by utilizing a passionate, creative, and fun teaching approach. I am a current student at the University of Chicago. I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and I am on the pre-medical track. I am extremely passionate about tutoring, and I have several years of experience tutoring students in my high school's learning center in various subjects as well as tutoring private clients in Standardized Test preparation. Given that I graduated high school recently, I have taken several Standardized Tests and high school subjects myself, so I have a comprehensive understanding of not only how to tutor these subjects and exams, but also what it is like to take them. While I have a wide range of interests and am able to tutor various subjects, I am most passionate about tutoring in Standardized Test preparation (including ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP Exams), Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Spanish. I truly believe that students should have the opportunity to learn in the way that works best for them, and I love being able to help them succeed by creating a comfortable tutoring environment in which we can best assess their particular needs and use strategies specific to them. My passion for learning drives everything that I do, and tutoring is the platform that I use to try to spread that passion to others.
