I am currently a rising Junior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Science, Technology, and Society. From early on, the intellectual development of others has been very important to me. In high school, I developed my school's first summer tutoring program to ensure that students retained information and were prepared for the upcoming year. I am most passionate about tutoring Political Science, History, and Math, with significant experience in helping students in each of these subject areas. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and playing the bass.

I am a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Political Science and International Studies. After I graduate, I will be pursuing work in the public sector, working specifically in foreign affairs. I am an undergraduate student at Harvard University! I am studying history and linguistics, and plan to teach English abroad for a few years post-graduation. Though I enjoy tutoring a wide range of subjects, I have the most experience helping students with their writing. I would love to help you improve your writing skills in general, or to look at specific essays or papers. I also enjoy tutoring English/ Language Arts more broadly, including ESL, and math. I do hold a TEFL certificate. I try to keep lessons with students interesting, because I think it's really hard to learn when you don't enjoy what you're learning! I am a Stanford student from Maryland studying Political Science and Computer Science. I graduated from high school in 2015, where I was active as the captain of my high school sailing team, a section leader in the orchestra, and part of the STEM magnet program Project Lead the Way. I am currently taking some time off from school to be around family here in Massachusetts and while I will be taking a few classes, I have plenty of time and lots of flexibility. I am excited to work with middle and high school students in math, reading and writing, social studies, and computer science. In addition to taking classes and tutoring this fall I will be volunteering in after school programs with low income middle and elementary school students.

I am currently a senior at Washington University in St. Louis and will be attending law school next year. My areas of expertise are Political Science and Government, History, Writing, and ACT prep. I teach a weekly course to underserved youth for ACT prep and have done well personally on both the ACT and the LSAT. I am a recent Brown University graduate from Dallas Texas now living in Manhattan. I graduated with honors in political science and have a good mind for standardized tests. I am currently preparing to take the LSAT, so I am in the test taking mindset myself and am excited to help students preparing for the SAT/ACT this summer/fall. In addition to SAT tutoring, I have experience coaching high school debate and am passionate about finding ways to simplify test-taking concepts so that they can become second nature to students approaching the process. I am a strong believer in the notion that standardized test taking is a learnable skill and believe I can effectively help students get into a mindset conducive to their succeeding. My favorite subjects to tutor are test prep and politics/government course work.
