I am a very motivated individual that will ensure all my students succeed in their studies. I have a great teaching style that is unique to each student that I work with, and I work hard to make sure my students not only master the material they need to learn, but also understand how to study and prepare on their own.

I'm a recent graduate of the California Institute of Technology in Economics and Computer Science. I was also accepted at Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford. I have a broad range of interests spanning science, math, engineering, social science, the humanities, the arts, and athletics (I also played on the Caltech basketball team). My background allows me to tutor general college prep, especially the SAT, ACT and the GRE. I love to teach analytical thinking, ranging from advanced Math and Physics to strategies for understanding literature and developing arguments.

I am currently a rising Junior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Science, Technology, and Society. From early on, the intellectual development of others has been very important to me. In high school, I developed my school's first summer tutoring program to ensure that students retained information and were prepared for the upcoming year. I am most passionate about tutoring Political Science, History, and Math, with significant experience in helping students in each of these subject areas. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and playing the bass.

I am dedicated to helping both struggling and thriving students excel in the subject in question. While I will work closely with my tutees, I will never just tell them how to answer a problem. Making sure the student is able to solve the problem on his own and understand why this method of solution works is how the subjects can be mastered.

I am currently a student at Duke University studying Biomedical Engineering and Economics. Just a little bit about me and some of my interests. Some of my favorite academic interests include memoirs and modern classics. I think Catcher in the Rye is still one of my all time favorite books but Percy Jackson, a modern classic, is up there too. Beyond academics, I take great guilty pleasure in watching TV shows such as Westworld, Sherlock, How I Met Your Mother, and even The Bachelorette when I'm at a low point.

I'm a freshman at Stanford University pursuing a degree in mathematical and computational science. I've been tutoring students from grades 3-12 throughout high school, and I look forward to continue in college. Nothing excites me more than learning something new, and I strive to share my excitement with my tutees.

I am a junior at Harvard University where I study History and Economics. I maintain a 3.9 GPA while playing on a varsity sports team. I understand the challenges that students today face because I too have experienced them. I have plenty of tips to help you stay organized and on top of your work. I'm a current senior at Harvard University earning a double major in Environmental Science and Public Policy and Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. During my time at Harvard, I've done a wide variety of education-related work. I've taught my own self-designed course on Feminism, Intersectionality, and Queer Theory to high school students in both the US and Vietnam, and I currently design and lead customized inclusivity trainings with Harvard's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

I am a student at the University of Chicago. I grew up on the upper east side and attended the Dalton School in Manhattan. My whole life I've enjoyed math and science but what I am really passionate about is teaching others. I've worked in all different areas from coaching to teaching, and if you want someone who will be relentlessly positive while also capable and engaged I'm your guy.

I'm a recent graduate from Harvard University, where I majored in Neurobiology with a minor in Economics. I particularly enjoy tutoring for the SAT and other standardized tests, because I believe that with enough practice and some solid test-taking strategies, anyone can master these. As a former Division I runner, I've learned the importance of persistence and hard work, and I love sharing these values with my students and helping them to make significant gains. Outside of tutoring, I work as a scientist at a healthcare startup, and when I'm not at work I'm likely to be found running around Central Park, debating public policy, or practicing my cooking skills.

I am a recent cum laude graduate of the University of Amsterdam's Masters in Economics Program where I specialized in Monetary Policy and Banking. While there, I worked as a teaching assistant and tutored in economics and mathematics. Prior to that, I worked as an ESL teacher for two years in Russia and China.

I'm currently a PhD student in economics at Yale University. I also have a BS in physics and math from Yale. Other subjects I enjoy are history, geography, and philosophy, and I dabble in photography and baking. I enjoy helping people understand tricky concepts and solve challenging problems, academic and otherwise.

I am originally from New York City and am a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Political Science, Economics, and Psychology. Having gone through high school and the whole college process within recent memory, I am at the unique intersection of having a very current understanding of the challenges, and of having gained experience and perspective from college. I started tutoring as soon as I had real knowledge to share, which for me was in the eighth grade. In the way a six-year-old might feel an unwavering sense of duty and pride from being charged with returning scissors to the desk, I felt the true significance of the job I had been given. I'm a hardworking, compassionate, and patient individual who has been tutoring since high school and helping my little sister with her homework long before. I am a 2023 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Finance/Economics major and a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I am a passionate student in the math and business realms, as I enjoy the intuitiveness of the former and the real-world potential of the latter. During classes in middle and high school, I developed a reputation of being a good source of help within my classes in a non-tutor capacity, and grew that into a peer tutor role a couple times a week during lunch my senior year of high school. What I hope to accomplish with my tutoring is ensure that you not only achieve your desired grade/score, but see how the different concepts relate to each other in the bigger picture. The more important part is to critically think about the subject matter in other, more unfamiliar contexts. Also, in my math subjects, I seek to provide personal secrets in realms including quicker computation strategies, unique acronyms for certain rules, and other intuitive shortcuts.

I am a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, studying the Biological Basis of Behavior with minors in Spanish and Health Care Management. I have had extensive experience tutoring students one-on-one in West Philadelphia from elementary grammar to high school neuroscience, as well as ACT prep. I am extremely patient and encouraging.
