I am really excited about working with students in the Philadelphia area! I grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated high school with an IB diploma. For college, I moved to Houston to attend Rice University, where I majored in Psychology. I then earned a masters degree in Religion at Yale and I am now working towards a degree in Bioethics at UPenn. I also completed the premedical requirements during this time.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University; I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology along with being a minor in Spanish. I also studied at Plano ISD in high school. As Plano ISD is recognized for its academic achievements and competitiveness, I have always been positively challenged by my curriculum and by my peers to improve and to push myself to excel. From a young age, I have always been a part of the Gifted and Talented program. Trying to challenge myself and wanting to be different, I took a risk and joined the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, a program that was not as well recognized at the time and was extremely difficult. Joining the IB program was the best decision I have taken thus far. I gained knowledge from all around world- different insights, different histories, different philosophies, different literature, etc.

I am able to create short-cuts, tricks, and other useful methods that students love because I, myself, am a student. Therefore, I can relate well with all my students. Since my experiences range far and wide, I am confident that I can provide the best services as a tutor in my subject areas.

I am working on getting my pilot licenses and when I have some free time I enjoy music, basketball and video games.

I am a graduate of Rice University (B.A. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, History) and Emory University (MPH). Through my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have tutored students in various subjects in one-on-one and group tutoring sessions. I am fluent in Spanish and English and enjoy teaching and tutoring students in Spanish, History, English, Algebra I and II, Calculus, Biology and Chemistry. I am an undergraduate senior who will graduate from Rice University this May, where I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. After graduation, I will be going to medical school at UT Houston in the Texas Medical Center. I have experience as a tutor at Rice, where I tutored student-athletes in subjects such as biology and chemistry, which are fields I specialize in. I have helped tutor many friends in the two scientific portions of the MCAT, and this is the discipline I am most passionate about. I am a firm proponent of helping students help themselves. I am a student at Arizona State University and Barrett the Honors College. I am pursuing a degree in chemical engineering and two minors in Spanish and mathematics. I plan on attending medical school upon graduation. I have been a tutor for nearly four years in multiple areas. Primarily, I have tutored mathematics for middle school and high school students. I also have experience in test preparation for the SAT, ACT, IB, AP and Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS). Additionally, I have tutored in multiple sciences, such as physics and biology. I very devoted to education and to intend to see to it that every student has the quality of education that I have been privileged to receive. Outside of school, I spend my free time shopping, trying new restaurants, doing yoga, and spending time with friends.

I am currently a full time Teaching Assistant for the Americorps- affiliated program Blue Engine, teaching Algebra I at an arts high school in the Bronx. I am planning on applying to medical school in the hopes of someday becoming a neurologist. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, painting, and driving my bright orange motorcycle.

I am a pre-medical undergraduate at New York University studying Global Public Health with a concentration in Chemistry. I have been passionate about education since high school and have been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students from grades 6-12 and college in a variety of subjects since! I specialize in mathematics and science tutoring as well as standardized exam preparation. I am passionate about the life sciences and enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals! I am from Rockland County, New York, and currently work as a Private Tutor and Research Assistant in Ithaca. This January, I graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. I am a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, with a BS in Biology and minors in Mathematics and Biochemistry. I am currently working on computer coding and enjoy tutoring students, specializing in test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and GRE.

I am a recent graduate of University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Womens & Gender Studies. Having been a science nerd throughout high school, I knew that I would want to study biochemistry at university, but I also wanted to strengthen my writing, analytical, and research abilities in a non-scientific context. So focusing on both was perfect for me because I was able to develop analytical and problem-solving skills in two very different contexts. Having this background also allows me to feel comfortable tutoring a range of subjects.
