I am interested in bettering your educational experience in the Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Math! If you or your child is struggling with math or science courses or, perhaps, is preparing for a standardized test that requires application knowledge in these areas then I may be the guy for you! I am also interested in tutoring individuals who are working towards acceptance into a professional school that might have been out of school for a while.

I am a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. I am currently a 3rd year dental student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. I have tutored students from all backgrounds and ages, more specifically with a focus on elementary to high school education. My experiences range from instructing low-income and minority fifth grade students to that of high level 12th grade private school institutions. My favorite subjects to tutor are that of biology, including the topics of anatomy, microbiology, and physiology. I truly enjoy teaching biology because I believe that the human body is such a dynamic process and that there are so many advancements that have yet to be made in the field of science. In terms of my teaching philosophy, I believe in creating a nurturing environment inundated with encouragement, repetition, and positive feedback that allows my students to grow and develop accordingly. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and participate in many activities such as hiking, bicycling, swimming, going to the beach, and traveling to captivating foreign lands.
I am pursuing a career in dentistry/oral surgery and will be beginning dental school at Boston University this fall. For this reason I recently took the DAT, which I am capable of assisting you with as well. During my undergraduate education, which I completed this past December, I worked in my school's tutoring center, helping my peers succeed in mathematics and science courses. Outside of my academic life, I am a big sports fan and I mostly follow the New York sports teams. For fun, I like to play basketball and golf with my friends. I am looking forward towards getting to know you and helping you with your academic needs.
I am a first year dental student at The University of Pennsylvania. In a few years, I will be living my dream of improving the lives of others via practicing medicine. In the meantime, I will dedicate my attention towards helping you fulfill your dream.
Hi everyone! I'm Vivek, a recent graduate from UVa (studied biology). Over the past year, I have been offering virtual private and group tutoring for all STEM k-12 subjects. My sessions can help students prepare for challenging coursework or tests they plan to take in the upcoming months. I would greatly appreciate it if you reach out to me if you are interested in tutoring / spread the word to anyone who may be interested. I genuinely enjoy teaching and served as a teaching assistant at UVa for several years, as well as created and taught my own undergraduate-level courses. I would love to work with you and your student to help them achieve their academic goals!
I am very patient and I was always someone in school that could turn a long tedious problem/ information into something that I remembered forever.
I am also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and I am familiar with preparation for standardized tests. My favorite part about tutoring is seeing my students' excitement when they learned something new or when they have come to understand a difficult concept.
I am currently pursuing medical school so my academic life is not as rich in literature as I wish it could be, which is why I am so excited to tutor students in it. An accomplished writer and researcher, I am also excited to help students create well-written and thoughtful pieces.

Hello, my name is Vaibhav Sharma and I am a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. I majored in neuroscience and chemistry and while I was in college I spent my time volunteering at local hospitals and researching novel neuroscience techniques. I will attend medical school at Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College this fall. Having taken all of the science classes since high school, I know how daunting and hard science material might seem but if taken at a very fundamental level, it is much more logical and simpler than how many high school teachers or college professors make it seem. Thats how I approach tutoring my clients. I try to use practical examples on how the science principles come into play in the real world.
I'm currently a third-year dental student pursuing a DMD degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

My strong foundation in the sciences, built through extensive coursework and research in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics, allows me to explain complex topics with clarity and enthusiasm. Further, my long-standing passion for reading and literature has helped me develop strong writing skills, which I enjoy sharing with students. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, empathy, and personalized support. I strive to create a calm, encouraging, and collaborative environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas deeply together. Each lesson is tailored to the student's learning style and goals, with a focus on developing true understanding rather than rote memorization. I believe that when students feel supported and confident, they're able to reach their full potential. Ultimately, my goal as a tutor is to help students build both knowledge and confidence, empowering them to succeed academically and develop a lasting curiosity for learning.
I am currently a senior at Harvard College where I study chemistry, and I'll be attending Columbia Medical School next year. I have years of experience tutoring college students in math (mostly calculus) and chemistry including both general and organic chemistry. In addition, I am very familiar with all sections of the SAT and ACT having prepared several high school students for these tests. I believe that every student is capable of boosting his or her baseline score on these tests, so long as he or she works hard to get to know the format of the tests and the most popular types of questions. I tutor because I love seeing students develop a genuine passion for the subjects they once disliked (such as math and science), once they understand the power of these subjects and their applications to the real world.

I am a recent Cornell University graduate (Dec '23) majoring in Biological Sciences with a focus on Genetics, Genomics, and Development. My passion lies in healthcare, as I am currently preparing to attend medical school this upcoming fall. However, I have always had an interest in teaching. I started as a general chemistry TA, supporting students during problem solving sessions. Then, I helped teach our genetics lecture course, coordinating individual and group tutoring sessions that guided students in content application. This position transformed into a leadership role, organizing our teaching team while spearheading an initiative to train fellow teaching assistants in pedagogical techniques that I learned in a course I took on the art of teaching. Lastly, in an ethics of medicine course of non-STEM majors, I prepared and facilitated discussion sections on current topics in personalized medicine. These experiences, combined with my time as a teaching assistant in correctional facilities, helped me grow as a varsity tutor now going into my 4th year on this platform. Given this breadth of experience teaching diverse and unique students, I am eager and excited to support young scientists in any subject related to this field.
