I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics and I am obtaining my Master's in Educational Leadership. Throughout the years I have worked in the classroom as an elementary teacher and then obtained my certification in Middle School Mathematics which allowed me to work in my current profession as a middle school mathematics teacher. I have also been tutoring for over 10 years and I specialize in test preparation, organization, mathematics, and SAT/ACT Mathematics preparation. While I have taught a broad range of subjects, my heart lies with the fundamentals of reading and phonics! I love seeing the growth students are able to achieve as they learn to read and the pride they have in themselves once they realize they are readers and writers.
