I earned my bachelors at Washington University in St Louis and earned two graduate degrees from the University of Chicago - Divinity and Public Policy. Throughout my academic life, I have loved hearing the questions that other students ask in class, and figuring out how to re-explain a concept so that it finally makes sense. Watching brains at work gives me joy! I have tutored algebra, geometry, calculus, economics, statistics, and data analytics. I have put these skills to use professionally as a researcher - writing for professional journals, the federal government, state government, and non-profits. I'm also a mom who has tutored (and at time homeschooled) my own child. Like many, he does not instinctively love learning, but he does find it a whole lot easier with someone to walk him through it and answer questions non-judgmentally.
