I'm a Science of Teaching Reading Tutor.
I help elementary students with Math.
I am an IXL Certified and Licensed Tutor, holding an official IXL Tutor account.
I help elementary & middle & high school students with reading and writing.

Mastery of Reading and writing is needed across all grades and subjects. I tutor especially on these critical skills that build upon one another, like stepping stones.

My favorite subjects are ELAR, Science, Social Studies, and Math for elementary school. Reading & Writing for Middle and High School. For high school, I tutor in AP Chemistry, full-length test prep for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as well as Environmental Science, study skills, and Emotional Intelligence.

My teaching philosophy: "Every child is a capable learner. My role is to guide them in discovery, build confidence, and create joyful lifelong learners."

I enjoy reading, writing, creating online content, listening to music, gardening, cooking, taking long walks, practicing yoga, pranayama, meditation, journaling, decluttering my home, and enjoying fun social gatherings.
