I have worked with students and youth throughout my youth and adult life. I have assisted in coaching sports, worked in classrooms that provide behavioral assistance, and with individuals who need different or extra assistance academically. I have also developed programs and run summer camps that provide community access for individuals with special needs. I have always had a love and passion for helping others and seeing life from diverse perspectives. Working with students continuously helps me to learn and grow.
My personal academic career includes graduating top 10 in my class from Mariner High School in Washington State and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, (I love philosophy) from Western Washington University. I currently live in Bogota, Colombia, and teach English to individuals. My strongest academic passions are Science and English. My other passions include traveling and learning about different cultures, hiking and camping, and video games.

Hobbies

I have a variety of interests and hobbies. I enjoy bushcraft and the outdoors. I like to hike and practice survival skills such as living off the land, building shelters, and skills with minimal gear. I also enjoy competitive video games and have been in various tournaments and was semi-pro for a short time. In more recent years, I have found a love for traveling and learning about different cultures, especially in South America. I enjoy challenges and new experiences that help me grow and diversify. I love being active and always had an abundance of energy as a youth. I have played and competed in many sports at a varsity level including soccer, football, swimming, cross-country, and ultimate.
