Certified Tutor

I graduated with a master's degree in mechanical engineering from University of Oklahoma and with a bachelor's degree also in mechanical engineering from Sri Venkateswara University in India. I have been working for more than 25 years as a Mechanical Engineer at a company that supplies auto parts.
I have been interested in tutoring since my middle school days when my math teacher asked me to tutor a few of my classmates after school. While at University of Oklahoma, I worked as a private tutor to a bachelor's degree student of engineering and as an instructor of an engineering course at University of Oklahoma. While working as a Mechanical Engineer, I volunteered to tutor newly arrived refugee children of a family.
I am interested in tutoring students in many subjects, but I am mostly interested in math and science. Tutoring students helps me share my knowledge and it also gives me an opportunity to gain deeper knowledge. I feel that I tutor best when the student brings questions for me to the tutoring sessions. However, if the students send me their class syllabus for a subject, I am willing to teach with prepared lecture slides.
When I am not working as an engineer or when not working as a tutor, I like to listen to read books or listen to audiobooks or watch TV with family.
