I'm passionate about helping students explore the humanities, whether it's strengthening writing skills, developing critical thinking, or engaging with history and philosophy. As an ESL/ELD teacher by trade, I've taught over 700 students and delivered more than 2,700 lessons, helping learners build their language skills and confidence. I also work as a substitute teacher in my metro area, giving me the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and subjects. I take pride in making challenging topics approachable and fostering a genuine love of learning.

I hold dual B.A. degrees in Applied Linguistics and Arts & Letters, with a minor in Philosophy, from Portland State University. I'm TESOL certified and hold an Oregon Restricted Substitute Teaching License. As a lifelong learner, I strive to inspire curiosity and a desire for growth in every student I teach.
