In my role as a special education teacher for the past 5 years, I have worked with students of all ages and ability levels. I love to teach students in a 1 on 1 and small group setting. I feel that I can make the most impact on a student's life when I am able to individualize every lesson fully to meet every student's unique needs.
I received a Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and began working with students at the preschool level. I then began working with elementary and middle school aged children. Most recently, I worked with students k-12 who are medically fragile with multiple disabilities.
I pride myself on having a calm demeanor and keen observational skills.
