I'm a student at University Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Math and Statistics with a minor in Computer Science. My passion for teaching emerged early on during elementary school and middle school where I thrived in group settings, aiding classmates in their growth. Throughout high school, I continued this by tutoring friends during exam season for extra cash. In college, my dedication extended to tutoring my statistics class, where I took the initiative to explain each week's lessons in our group chat, fostering a collaborative learning environment. I cover a diverse range of subjects. However, I am most passionate about all things Math. My teaching philosophy revolves around providing tools for success and creating a supportive environment for questions. I break down complex concepts into digestible blocks for students and help piece those blocks together to create a big picture view of the topic. I'm an open, down-to-earth tutor who highly encourages questions without judgment. Beyond imparting academic knowledge, my goal is to instill a love for learning, leaving students with a confidence in themselves across all aspects of life. In my leisure, I indulge in non-fiction books, sports and video games.
