Grace: Medford tutor
Certified Tutor
My name is Grace and I am excited to help you in your academic journey. I am determined to give my all to help you succeed in your studies. During my time in college, I have made the Dean's list every semester, am part of the undergraduate Honors Program, have gained conditional acceptance to medical school, and I am currently conducting an undergraduate research project in antibiotic resistance. I owe much of my success to my wonderful professors, mentors, and tutors who took time to teach, coach, and support! I hope to pay this forward to all of the students that I have the opportunity to help.
Throughout my studies, I have realized that success in STEM classes comes down to utilizing active recall strategies to build a full foundation of understanding. My knowledge of this field enables me to break down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable ideas. I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the subject matter.
Beyond my academics, I have experience working with both elementary-aged students and high school students. For the past two years, I have volunteered as a mentor and teacher at a local non-profit, where I assisted and supervised students of all ages. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with various age groups and provide help at multiple levels.
I am thrilled to share my love for science and biology with you and guide you in achieving your academic goals. Whether you need help unraveling a difficult concept or preparing for exams, I hope to provide guidance and strategies to help you to find success. I am rooting for you! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have or if you would like to schedule a session!
