Hi! My name is Jessica Freeman, and I am a teacher, writer, and artist. My Master of Arts degree in English is from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and my Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry and Creative Writing is from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I love teaching and working with students, and helping them to better understand a multitude of subjects. I have been tutoring and teaching for 20 years, and have loved helping students find their academic voice and succeed in writing papers, studying, memorizing historical facts, and analyzing important information. I am flexible, and knowledgeable in a wide array of subjects and can help make studying fun for you!

I am a creative writer who publishes poetry and nonfiction often. I love to swim, dance, garden, and cook for my friends. I believe helping one another is extremely important, so I work in the community often, and teach poetry and creative writing workshops to underserved populations and to those who are struggling. I love music, and write songs in my spare time.
