Certified Tutor
My love for the Spanish language is second nature, due to both my parents traveling separately from Mexico to the United States, gaining employment and eventual citizenship. I grew up speaking Spanish in my home and it is my first language.
Although I am a Navy veteran and have a background in Nuclear Technology, my passion is to teach, and translate Spanish. I have a Master's in Education from Grand Canyon University, and I enjoy teaching the language that I love.
Serving as an interpreter for my church has allowed me to share my language in worship and the Word of God, which has been an honor.
I have taught all levels of the Spanish language as well as creating and implementing my own
Advanced Placement curriculum in my classroom.
I enjoy working individually with students and helping them feel confident and gain proficiency in their language learning.
I'm looking forward to working with you!

I am a lifelong learner. I enjoy learning new languages such as French, German and even Russian. I play piano and worship music for my church and I am currently learning how to play the guitar. I have run several half-marathons and my goal is to run a full marathon within the next couple of years. I am also a new gardener and look forward to eating fresh vegetables from my garden this fall.
