I have been teaching for over 20 years in various capacities. I have been in my current position for 18 years. I believe in meeting the social-emotional needs of students is critical before we can meet their academic needs. I have a history of being patient-but firm. I will push kids to reach their greatest potential. I often tell kids- "I will work just as hard for your success as you do, but I won't work harder." I firmly believe that the students need to see the effect of their hard work in order to stay motivated for success.
I have my Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's in Elementary and Special Education. My passion is Science, but I also enjoy teaching the other subjects.
