My student-centered approach to education empowers students with the tools needed to succeed. I hold a MEd in Educational Leadership, have over 15 years of experience teaching high school science, and over 5 years experience tutoring middle school students in science and math. I have worked with students with diverse learning needs including gifted and talented, specific learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD. I cultivate students' love of learning by encouraging them to draw connections, develop a deeper understanding of content, and foster ownership in their learning.
