I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Adolescent Education from SUNY Oswego. I have experience in teaching, mentoring, and advising students in both a high school and higher education setting. However, currently, I am a full-time Admissions Counselor at Stony Brook University, a highly ranked public institution in New York State. Within this role, I read college applications, host student receptions, provide individualized guidance and support on the admissions process, present information sessions, and recruit from high schools and national college fairs. I am passionate about the work I do because it incorporates assisting students during a very vital transition in their educational careers.

Every student deserves guidance in reaching their full individualized potential and surpassing their preexisting barriers and limitations. Each student's pursuits and aspirations are vastly different. Therefore, every interaction I have with a student is authentic and genuine; geared to the services they need.
