I am a mechanical engineering graduate from the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. I received my Associate of Arts at Florida International University, where I was a Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry Learning Assistant. There, I took a teaching seminar focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics which taught me how to identify different learning methods so I could adapt my teaching to the student's needs. While I tutor a broad range of mathematics subjects, I am most passionate about Algebra, Calculus I and II.
Besides teaching in groups, I've also held private sessions tutoring middle school and undergraduate students. In the past with mathematics, I usually come across students who are frustrated and feel lost in their work. The main goal that I've always had when I teach is to make the student feel comfortable and safe in their learning environment. This is usually when I see the most progress in students, which is the most rewarding part as they finally feel confident!

I am passionate about pursuing a career in architectural engineering under a mechanical discipline, focusing on HVAC design with hybrid ventilation and sustainable design. In my free time, I love playing volleyball, hanging out with my family and friends. I play board games a lot with my roommates and on my phone, but recently I've been really into Among Us.
