I hold a BA in a double-major of English and Creative Writing from Columbia University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota. I am currently pursuing an MSL in Legal Studies with a paralegal certification at Hamline University. I have tutored and taught high school to adult students in Minnesota since 2014. As an immigrant who struggled through high school because of language barriers, I am passionate about giving students the academic and moral support they need outside of school. I tutor a range of subjects, but my passion in English and Literature has been the most instrumental in drawing out my students' innate motivation and ambition through the power of storytelling, so I always try to empower my students by giving them greater command of language. It helps that writing can often be incredibly fun. When I'm not at work, I am a musician studying violin, guitar, and voice. I also try as much as I can to get to the beautiful lakes of Minnesota and the Boundary Waters, or to the hills in winter with my snowboard.
