Hello,

My name is Isaac Taylor Sluder. I am recent graduate of UNC Charlotte, and I have a passion for teaching! I graduated with a degree in biology, but have tutoring experience by being a Teaching Assistant for both Biology and Psychology Courses. While tutoring, I love interacting with and getting to know people on a personal level because I believe this creates trust between myself and the other person. In addition to getting to know the person, I have a variety of skills that I use to assist my students in grasping the material at hand. I love drawing things out, using models to describe difficult content, and using outside resources, such as videos, to help further explain the content. At the end of the session, I will ask the student questions pertaining to the material that we went over during the session and might potentially have them explain the topic back to me, as I have found that teaching is the best way to learn!
