My name is Jennifer. I am a single parent. I am dedicated to my ethics and belief that people should never stop learning about the world and themselves and I strive to gain more knowledge about myself and the world I live in. I have spent these last nine years traveling, exploring and learning with my son through a new perspective as a parent and not strictly an Educator and I believe it has only given me more insight to a child's every day needs and ways to help a child succeed in life. I have worked in various positions throughout my adult life that has taught me how valuable punctuality is to one's ability to succeed, and the ability to articulate your thoughts, questions, and concerns is important when working in a public setting. I believe I can make a positive difference in a child's life and that my education both professionally and through life experiences can help a child make positive steps in their own growth and development.
ON my free time, I love to travel, read, hike and go camping when the weather in warm. Any chance I can get outside and explore the world for myself, I dive right in! I enjoy being creative with painting, photography, drawing and any other craft like projects I can stumble upon. My son and I enjoy trying new foods and engaging in new cultures and places of interest and I try to mark at least one new "bucket list" place off our list every year. The more I am able to explore the world through his eyes, the more I find I learn and can be humbled by his experiences as well as bring these moments into my teaching career to personalize my lessons and expand a students knowledge on the world around them.
