Certified Tutor

I am a current student of Philosophy at Grand Canyon University, seeking a B.A. I transferred to GCU from Boise State University when I discovered through my studies in their undergraduate Psychology program that I was more interested in educating myself in philosophy. Being a lifelong learner, my goal as a tutor is to empower others with the gift of knowing how to learn anything on their own. I am very friendly and have a genuine interest, and I would even say a passion, in taking part in the positive development of others.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, I am learning to play the guitar and getting better every day. I love to create stories, articles, songs, and poetry. I have experience as a volunteer tutor at Boise State where I tutored two students, one in Statistics and the other in both Statistics and Psychology. I also coached wrestling for about 5 years and worked with students ranging in age from five years, to eighteen years. This too was a volunteer position that gave me a lot of teaching experience. I'd love to share more about myself with you or your child and share also the experience of learning how to learn.
