I grew up in Harlem and was born with Cerebral Palsy, which affects my right side. I walk a little slower and have limited mobility in my right hand, but these experiences have given me deep understanding of facing challenges with determination.
I truly get what it feels like when things don't come easily. You're not alone.
I've earned five degrees, including three in performing arts, and spent 25+ years as an academic librarian before teaching. My passion is helping students discover their voices and achieve their goals.
