Certified Tutor
I recently attained a masters degree in electrical engineering with a focus on solid-state electronics from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, I received bachelors degrees in both electrical engineering and physics from The University of Texas at Austin. As a tutor, I have logged over 400 hours assisting students with physics, math, electrical engineering, and programming. In the past, I have helped students as a math tutor for all grades from elementary school to calculus and as a graduate teaching assistant for a second-year electrical engineering class. With my strong mathematics and physics background, I can tutor all math and physics classes through introductory college courses. I especially enjoy teaching introductory college courses in calculus and physics, as these subjects are typically more difficult, but are ultimately more rewarding for me when I am able to help a struggling student understand a problem. I like to use YouTube videos and drawings to help students gain a better conceptual understanding of content and then emphasize methodical step-by-step problem solving to reinforce those concepts.
