Certified Tutor

I want to be a tutor because I believe I can help students obtain the grades that they deserve. I am at Buffalo State College for my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Childhood Education with a concentration in Liberal Arts. I have experience tutoring every grade in elementary school and 6th grade. I tutor in math, English, social studies, science and Spanish. My favorite subject to tutor is math because I used to struggle with math so when I see the aha moment in children when I teach them the math problem my way it is very rewarding. I like to think my tutoring style is that I use manipulatives in math or I go step by step in the problem and have the student copy me and ask questions as we go along that they don't understand. Things I like to do outside tutoring are as follows; I work at Doodle Bugs as a toddler assistant teacher. I like going to concerts and hanging out with my friends. I also attend vintage which is a college student ministry. I also like to work out when I get the chance. My favorite shows are Pretty Little Liars, Fuller house and Greys Anatomy.
