I am a graduate of Kean University and have been teaching for 18 years. I see all students as Mathematicians who can connect Math to the real-world. My background in Special Education has allowed me to use a wide variety of modalities and manipulatives to increase and challenge understanding of skills/concepts. I enjoy tutoring because it allows for students to be leaders in the learning processes by letting me know how he/she learns best.
