Certified Tutor

I am a certified special education teacher who is passionate about helping students feel confident about their learning. I have taught students from 3rd-8th grade and have experience with advanced and struggling learners. Reading, writing, and communications (public speaking) are my specialties. I have helped students advance not one, but two reading levels within one academic year. I love helping students develop superb reading and writing skills, as I believe these skills are the foundation for every area of your academic and professional careers.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from Howard University in Washington, DC in 2012. I am originally from Minnesota and absolutely love cold weather. Coffee is my favorite. I enjoy spending my free time with my adorable baby girl.
