I received my BA in English from Barnard College, Columbia University, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2011. I'm currently a PhD Candidate and Instructor in the English Department at Stony Brook University.
Over the past eight years, I've worked with a wide range of students, ages elementary through college as both a tutor and classroom instructor. I teach college literature classes during the year and work in a pre-college program at Columbia teaching research, writing and public speaking to high school students every summer. I love discussing literature and writing with my students and enjoy working to improve their skills in these areas.
