Jordan: Montgomery County tutor
Certified Tutor
I received my B.A. in Journalism from The George Washington University and my law degree from Fordham University School of Law. I am currently an attorney with the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, DC and am really looking forward to helping students with any issues they might be having in their classes or in preparing for standardized tests. While I tutor a large variety of subjects, I am most passionate about helping students with English, essay writing, editing, American history, geography, and the LSAT. Those who I have tutored in the past have shown remarkable improvement in their grades and test scores. I try to use mnemonic devices to help students remember important information, and I'm extremely patient since I know that some students take a little while to grasp certain concepts.
Outside of academics, I'm a huge sports fan (mainly basketball and football). I play on a variety of rec league teams, I run 4-5 times per week, and I really enjoy reading, an activity that is invaluable to students preparing for the reading comprehension section of standardized tests. I have also recently traveled to Asia, specifically Tokyo, Thailand, Macau, and Hong Kong.
